Based on close-up photographs of skin, I use graphite, acrylic wash and embroidery to create organic, non-representational compositions on raw canvas. My process involves a repetitive mapping, and documentation of interaction between line, shape, texture and contrast.
It is an unscripted narrative that explores the constant dance between singularity and synergy.
